Men Pick Condoleezza Over Julia Roberts For Dinner Date

A national survey by Esquire magazine finds men more likely to invite Condoleezza Rice to a dinner party than Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson.

The secretary of state was followed by Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie in the survey, which is published in the magazine's July issue.

The 29-question survey polled nearly 1,100 randomly selected men aged 25 and older. The choices came from a list of 14 notable women.

Museum For The Broken-Hearted

A museum dedicated to broken hearts has opened in Croatia.

Drazen Grubisic and Olinka Vistica decided to set up the museum after consoling friends over their failed romances.

Items on display at the museum in Zagreb include letters and mementoes.

Grubisic said: "We've never heard of such a museum and hope that it will be a form of therapy for all those people with broken hearts. We have collected mementoes, letters and different things from numerous people who have lost their loves.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi owns no car and the money she holds in cash is a meagre Rs 20,000.

According to the financial declaration she submitted along with her nomination papers in Rae Bareli, the total worth of Gandhi's jewellery is Rs 21.66 lakh.

The break-up as mentioned in the declaration shows she owns 2518.450 grams of jewellery, whose total worth is Rs 10.49 lakh. Her silverware amounts to 88 kg, with a value of Rs 11.17 lakh.

Harrods Boss Wants To Become Clock-Mummy

Harrods boss Mohammed al-Fayed, whose son Dodi was killed in the same car crash as Diana, princess of Wales, reportedly wants to be mummified when he dies and incorporated into the clock on the roof of his Knightsbridge store.

The Sun newspaper reported that Fayed wants his body embalmed and made into the hour hand of the giant clock that sits atop the legendary London grocers' shop.

Vandal Leaves $200 To Fix Car Windshield

Whoever broke retiree Charlotte Papenbrock's windshield has made her believe that Spring Breakers can be rowdy, but also genteel.

Papenbrock, a "Winter Texan" from Blue Springs, Mo., was dismayed to find that the rear windshield of her 2004 Buick was busted.

"Initially, I was upset," she said in Tuesday's online edition of the Island Breeze. "It was really smashed in. There was glass everywhere."

Artist Gets Naked To Earn Bread

An artist who baked a life-size model of her own naked body out of bread dough will watch her audience eat it at an exhibition.

Sharon Baker - her real name - used 24 eggs for the bread body, which weighed 36 kilos before it was cooked.

Ms Baker, 45, from Epsom, Surrey baked the model in the biggest oven she could find at Brooklands College, Weybridge.
